Hello all.3 weeks to go and 2017 points season will start.
As we have had our first practice run in the new venue we wish everyone good luck to get the trophies for 2017.
There are still things to work out regarding the pits, kitchen so please understand small changes for the next few racedays within.
There will be food and drinks available from here on in so please support the club.
We have a few videos up on our facebook page from January funday.

Please register early if you wish to come along.
There are only 8 hire transponders available,if you wish to run for points the club urges you to purchase your own, there will be no manual points counting during our race schedules, race control is not responsible for personal laptiming.

A message from the Comitee.
For February raceday .can all drivers bring their own tables. The hall tables will be reserved for committee etc, don't rely on the hall to supply. We should be glad that we have large premises to race in so prepare well and purchase a pit table for yourselves for future events.

Who doesn't love a race meeting that runs like clockwork??!!
Well, there are a few things that we can all do to make this happen at the next TIRCCC meeting:
-- arrive early and help set the track up BEFORE setting up your pit
go to registrations after you've helped out - don't wait until "final call. This includes if you've pre-registered. As usual, have your transponder numbers ready.
-- after your race, put your car on the scrutineering table and GO OUT TO MARSHALL (yeah... I yelled that!)
being back to back is inevitable for those of you racing multiple classes, we've all been there at some stage . Trick is to get those classes ready at the same time
-- check the grid listing as soon as it goes up and tell race control IMMEDIATELY if there's a problem. No changes to the computer once racing starts
--another point of marshalling: as soon as you know you can't Marshall, arrange someone to do it for you. Race control have enough to deal with
--oh and race control really doesn't like repeatedly asking for volunteers. If you see a marshall point empty.... I think you know the rest
-- half way through each race, race control calls the next race. Then there's 3 mins between races. That means you have 5min 30s to get ready. If all cars are ready, we can start the race sooner!!
--qualifiers are live loop. Don't stop on the track unless you want your car totalled by someone who is circulating
--finals. Do 2 laps to transponder check then grid up. If not on the grid when timer goes, start in pit lane
-- lastly, more people packing up at the end of the day means everyone can get home at a decent hour, even travellers!
Thank you all in advance!

8am....doors open

8am - 9am....track build

8:30 - 10:30....registration

As soon as poss in the morning

....practice 1

.... practice 2

...track closed and drivers briefing

... First race

This buys us AT LEAST an hour for either escape earlier and/or extra heats.

WE HAVE NOT PUT IN TIMES AS WE WISH TO HAVE ALL DRIVERS PRESENT TO BUILD THE TRACK THEN ENJOY PRACTICE AFTER REGISTRATION.

Once weve all settled in the hall we will have a proper time schedule,so please all play a part and enjoy the hobby.
