just spitballin here guys but was wondering if there would be any interest for the 2017 season of a "stock 2wd buggy" class where the motors were limited to 21.5 or 17.5?
with the numbers of 10.5 buggies increasing , maybe it could be a way for the newcomers juniors/ budget limited/old car drivers to race and let the really competitive "mod" guys duke it out in 10.5?
I am going to assume that the overall numbers of buggies wouldnt increase much but that some would drop from 10.5 down to the stock class??

just an idea

I kinda like the sound of that. Id say 17.5 though to fit in with national rules. May be worth a think about committee?

sounds like a great idea. I would be keen especially when noah is ready to step up to a buggy class it would be a good stepping stone before being thrown into 10.5 buggy. and it may also give experienced racers some more track time.

i know theres always pressures on what classes to run , i was kinda thinking that instead of 3-4 10.5 races it might be an idea to have one of those a (17.5) race instead. i wasnt really thinking that guys would run BOTH 10.5/17.5 as that would blow out the race day with multiple 10.5/17.5 races.

In amain's track in Chico California earlier this year, there were lots of 17.5 2wd and 4wd buggies and 2wd sct classes. Actually that's the class they sets up for the day with. I think running them for club days would be a good stepping stone for ppl.
