Last time I was there (windy500) you lost visibility of your car behind the centre raised section. you could get away with it if you land the big jump alright, but if you don't you can't even tell if the car is up the right way let alone pointing in the right direction.
Sorry to sound negative, but you should have visibility over the entire track.

All sugestions welcome, yes that is a problem we do have and we are planning to alter the lead up to the table top so that you get more control in the area following it including the area you mentioned...

Well nothing about the track, but for those travelling and looking for somewhere to stay, if you want to book into the lower hutt top 10 holiday park you have to book in for a minimum of 3 nights, any less and they want book you in.

Theres the NZ Streetstock Champs on at te marua speedway friday and saturday nights in welly that weekend, so i think the top 10 is close to being booked out, or expecting to be anyway.

 Oh yeah 1 thing about the track, on finals day please dont water it as much as it got watered back on finals day at the windy 500    All good and im sure this will be yet another great CMR event

OK, if we run the "windy" later in 2010 we might change the name to

"the muddy 500"

its always nice in wellington ..... sometimes

Windy 500 was a great event, was a shame the rain spoilt the party. I was more upset about the fractured fuel line and the broken steering screw than the rain that put me out
