Hey Everybody.

Attached is the approved motor list for the coming North island onroad champs and the coming 2015 racing season also. There may be a bit of disappointment about why most of the main manufactured brand motors are excluded but the reason for this is the majority of large company made motors are vastly different and much higher in their power ratings, therefore they have been left off this list for now. All the motors on the list are as close in power ratings as possible so as to make it an even racing class.

Thats it for now, have a great race weekend at the north island onroad event and the 2015 season.

Ok, having had a look at the approved motor list I can see there will be a few Keyboard Warriors warming up their fingers for an all out assault on the NZRCA tech officer.

Please find somewhere else on the forum to vent, as this is an event thread.

Any posts pertaining to the new 21.5 motor list that are made on this thread will be removed.

Thanks

Quote "Dispensation is approved for Touring Stock Brushless to run as per 2015 Rules"

Does this include all 2015 rules that apply to stock touring?

such as the body rule....

Proposed Rule A12.1
Any commercially available Four-Door or ability to provide permanent seating for at Least four adult
passengers or Internationally approved body may be used.

This rule would mean you can run a 2 door that could seat 4 passengers (y) (y)

Alan, this is the current rule for TC bodies:

It already allows for a two-door car with four adult-sized seats in A12.1 b. In fact, this has been the body rule for as long as I can remember - long before the IFMAR list was added.

Thanks Matt,

must have missed reading the "OR" statement, had always thought they must have 4 doors.

Just a reminder - If you want to take advantage of the special offer for Ride premounts, you have to have you order in AND paid for by next Sunday the 18th of October.

Don't miss the opportunity to save some $$$ on these great tyres!

They are good tyres - pity the wheels won't fit on my TC...A deal on unmounted tyres would be good

Hi all
Here is the format for the Ride Challenge and Ride Cup

The Ride Challenge
The Entries - 10 Random Entries drawn from a hat on Finals morning.
The Challenge - Each selected competitor completes 3 laps of the Albany track with the most constant lap times.
The Reward - Each competitor receives a prize for their efforts.

The Ride Cup.
This is all about bragging rights. a true Top 10 Shoot out.
The Shoot Out will be in reverse order of qualification - Slowest first - Fastest Last
The Entries - 10 Competitors with their single fastest lap time counting from the previous days qualifying rounds.
The Challenge - Complete one single flying lap of Albany track.
The Reward - The very much coveted Ride Cup. Winner takes all, and could possibly go down in history with a "lap of the gods"
Nothing like a bit of pressure (y)
