It was good to finally get on the track and do some practice after the track had dried.
Strange for a race day. I'm still in bed listening to the rain. Not sounding promising for any running at the moment.
Now the wait begins.

Well... qualifing has been abandoned for today due to the persistant rain.

with a better forcast for tomorrow, we are aiming to open the gates from 7am, and get racing underway from 8.30ish. we will have 1 qualifier and 2 finals depending on the weather......

Thanks to the HB crew & volunteers for their massive amount of hard work which was so evident this weekend.

Pity the weather was battling us and I was grateful the hard work meant we got more than probably what is expected when it rains.

Top effort on the Drivers stand too. I know have said it before but its worth a second mention.

Thanks hawkes bay. That was a mammoth effort you guys and ladies put on in tough conditions. It was a good event.
You have a good club that has some good member's. They were asking some good questions and soaking up all the knowledge they could.
The competitors had a good moral and put on some good racing despite the weather.
Until next time.
