FANTASTIC/EXCITING NEWS
Tauranga has now created it's very own indoor racing club, to compliment it's outdoor events.
The Tauranga Indoor Radio Control Car Club (TIRCCC) will hold monthly meetings as per the calendar below.
The venue is at the Greerton Hall, 1263 Cameron Road (opposite the Caltex garage). The hall will open at 12.00 pm for track building and racing will start at 13.30 pm.
The set up will be the more or less the same as the Hamilton RCCC but on a slightly smaller scale (identical carpet tiles). Jumps have been created for "Off Road" classes.
A new lap timing system has been purchased (transponders only $54).
There will be the usual classes plus a "Newcomers & Novices" class for anyone not wishing to run with a transponder or are new to the sport.
The Outdoor Events will continue at Cliff Road as per the 2015 calendar.
Outdoor & Indoor events will be advertised on a monthly basis.
New people welcome.
We hope you will support this new venture and help it go from strength to strength.

It's a massive positive for the hobby in the region... big thumbs up for those who have put in the hard yards behind the scene to make this work

Does this mean our regular transponders won't work?

I have some of these transponders. Stole some of the plugs but if the club wants them they are yours.
