i think theres already a thread on this, but from what i know, the drivers stand has been moved to the other side of the stadium, where the new track will be,

Daryl or someone on the committee will be able to give you more info on this,

Hi there,

I am new to this forum.
It seems that there is still no track in Auckland for on-road nitro cars.
Do some people meet on large parkings or similar sometimes ?

I owned one a long time ago and I wanted to get back into it but I thought it would be more fun if I am not alone.
Also having someone more experienced wanting to share his knowledge would be nice because I am a beginner.

Thank you
Sylvain

Hi ,

As a former 1/10th nitro racer I have resigned to the fact that the class is basically dead .

The lack of a track is one thing but it seems not of the major manufacturers have made cars for sometime.

Not all is lost though - the modern brushless electric cars with lipo batteries are faster , cleaner, easier to work on and basically more fun ........ I’m now a convert.

As for track options, check out the other NHRCCC forums on here , we have a new outdoor venue coming up soon and still run indoors in Henderson ( meeting tonight) so worth considering?

I don’t think there is any Nitro plans on the horizon unless you want to run 1/8th off-road?

Thank you for your reply MR-CRC

that's a bit sad but I guess I will have to switch for something else.
I will take some time consider the different options and read the forum before choosing my new car :)
