What would be the strongest sct body? I have had a Proline before and they were pretty good I thought....I am currently running a TLR body but are quite thin and fragile........yeah you will say stop crashing, which I dont too much these days but I cant help What other racers are doing around me  .....thoughts?

Cant go wrong with proline or jconcepts. The flo tek type ones tend to be a bit thinner but don't think they are as bad as the losi ones. The thick proline and jc ones are good but are a bit heavier.

Cheers bud, not to concerned about weight in 4wd as will be on a Tekno but may look at the flo-tek for 2wd....they sound like the best compromise in strength and weight (y)

I have a J concepts one on my DESC410 - still showing signs of cracking and wear.

Am gonna get some shoo goo and fibreglass cloth to reinforce the body.

Have heard it can be harsh on some paint though - apparently the trick is to use one thin layer of shoe goo and let it dry overnight THEN apply a lot more.

Will let you know how it goes!

I'm running a bitty designs shell and have not been overly impressed with durability. I've not tried a proline SCT shell but there gear is usually pretty damn good

If you don't crash then you're not trying hard enough

Shoe Goo and Gib tape, if your shells are backed with a good enamel you can carefully spread a good layer on quickly before it reacts with the paint and press your gib tape into it, if you sit there playing with it you'll strip your paint, I back all my shells with Rustoleum Painters Touch enamel, 12 bucks a can from bunnings and works a treat  (y)

as Nick said shoe goo and the webbed gib tape so the goo can ooze thru it is best and i had a proline body for yrs and yrs of hard racing and they hold up awesomely and barely had a crack in it when i eventually sold it..JC are great as well.

Currently using the earlier version of this one http://www.prolineracing.com/bodies/pre ... r-body-sc/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; has held up pretty well. Of course has only been run indoors, however very happy with it.

finally got mine done - the drywall tape is nice and sticky and once its on you liberally smear the shoo goo all over and make sure its nice and wet.

After about an hour it seems set - strength and solidity of this stuff is night and day vs the Jconcepts body
