I had some big hits at the nats and ran it at indoors last weekend with a few hard tumbles aswell, It has impressed me how durable the car is (y)

I have done the front hinge pin mod, weather its neccessary or not am not sure.

yes, apparently the grub screw that holds the front hinge pins in puts pressure on the pin and causes a week point for it to break, I think most whom have broken the hinge pins or arms have been pretty reckless and hit some fence posts etc pretty hard

thats cool thanks for the reply i had thought about using a 3.5 mm drill blank and just putting a lil flat spot in the centre. weather they would be strong enough of not.
just thought it like look a lil better than the shock shaft deal.

thanks to the good bugers at prosport rc i think mine is on my way to me atm so cant wate to build it and get the lil bugger on the track. (y) (y) (y) (y)

Anyone having issues with nasty noises coming from front cvds while turning and under power???

Smooth and quiet while the wheels are pointing straight, but while turning with the throttle on, sounds nasty!!

Just thinking of it, i watched this video when i first built mine and set my slipper up as instructed, have run the car with no noise.
The slipper needs to be set up properly or the belt skips and makes a noise.

had my first run with this car on sat night and the h town indoor fun night and man stright out of the box what a car.
it does need a swar bar on the rear if ya run on carpet as it squats mid corner comming on power and lifes the inside wheel off the ground.
just cant get over how easy it was to drive. mind u i did back off the turbo and boost setting to 0 in the speedy as being a ex gas driver i was getting a lil to trugger happy but buy then end of the night i was getting use to the balls it had. must be time to wind some wally into it    for the first round of the w.c.c in a couple weeks.
heres hopeing i can keep it away from the back side of them wooden jumps. ( not pretty )

Heres a link to a video of the noise I'm having. I think it may be a problem with th3 universals. They are quite sloppy, and quite notchy for a car thats only done 3 packs from new....
