I've been trying to get a hold of one of these for quite a while. This was the last Yokomo off-roader that was based on the YZ-10/870c platform, although it doesn't share many parts with the original - mainly the drivetrain and motor plate - the rest evolved through the models between until they arrived at this paragon.

This one is ex-Dave Bromley and I think it is the WCS version which came with associated hard-anodised shocks and a few other upgrades from the factory.

Thanks Ed. The holes in the top deck have been machined bigger to make the top deck more flexible - I guess a bumpy track setup option.

Hey Matt nice score (y) are you sure this is a wcs as I'm pretty sure they were released in 93 not 95, but who knows I was out of rc by 95

The 93 WCS had a frp top plate , towers and battery straps also had a few lightened goodies like the wheel adapters. Also had a different rear camber link setup to the 95 you've got there

Here's a build thread from one of the guys over in the uk for you to have a look at

HI Adrian, I think there was a 93 version and a 95 version - the one in your link is different - mine is like this: http://yz-10.blogspot.co.nz/2011/04/95-wcs.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There was a 93 94 and 95. The 93 was the firat to have the shocks on the rear of the towers. Then the 94 saw a change in the diff cases from mag to moulded plastic. And a few i
Other bits. The 95 saw the pavidis edition. Witch had the light weight chassis and arms. Fully blacked out and it dident have the slipper as thats how mark ran it when he won the worlds. Then after that was the 96/97 witch was a upgrade kit witch changed the top deck to a 2 piece decks with a shock mounted fwd of the cente line to help with flex. Then i belive it was 98 when it changed names to the mx4?
