North Island / Indoors date clash

Hi guys,

Just thought I would throw it out there. The next scheduled onroad indoors on the 11th of November clashes with the North Island onroad champs in Taranaki. Would it be worth considering a date change for this one for the guys that will be away at the event?

Cheers
Simon

Re: AGM/Remits

I will happily say I proposed the rule on behalf of the Harbour club for the tyre remit...Mat W, Tony is getting passionate as he understands the benefit of a control tyre with racing consistently in Aussie, and after running a couple of major meets here in NZ and having to make a call from across t...

Re: Onroad Nationals 2017 - CMR

On another note what I also saw was a huge success was the controlled motor in 21.5! Not a single blown motor and speeds that where almost identical down the straight creating racing where the top 5 guys all had almost identical fastest lap times. The blinky 13.5 class showed that the cars are still...

Re: Onroad Nationals 2017 - CMR

Another Nationals done and dusted...congratulations to all the podium and A main finalists. This was one of the most competative Nats for a number of years. A massive thank you to the CMR club who put on a very well run event, went above and beyond with setting up the drivers stand, preparing the tr...

Re: Awesomatix Touring Car

Hi guys, With the summer season and asphalt racing coming here is a setup that I used at the Aussie Nats. It is essentially what Ryan Maker ran to win open modified with (beat none other than Ronald Volker) on his way to securing TQ and the win. In fact Awesomatix took out every TC class...so shall ...

Re: Control Tires for Events

Im sorry, I have tried to keep impartial on this one with all the comments being made but some of the statements here are just not correct. (Yes based on experience). The control tyre option has been run successfully here in NZ for a number of years previously (The international for example) where a...

Re: Control Tires for Events

Couldn't agree more!...this no control tyre for events makes it a lottery if you happen to have the correct tyre, compound and insert over someone else who doesn't is a HUGE advantage. I'm all for this rule to change!

Re: Pro12 (1/12th scale RWD pan cars)

Here are a couple of pics of the Yokomo YRX12 build. In typical yokomo fashion it was a really nice build and very straight forward with each step well described in teh manul and separate bags for each stage. Some nice improvements from the R12...The front end has done away with the sway bar and is ...

Yup she was pretty impressive to hit the pole so square on with no control of the car! Actually pretty lucky if she went down one of the sides it would have torn all the arms off
Got to win A1 in SS and mod and it went south from there
