Re: Shock Oil

To start off with, you might want to check if your current shocks have enough oil in them. Oil can leak out of the shocks over time which then fills with air, making it the travel not uniform all the way. Second, if you can put spacers on stock plastic shocks to compress the springs further, then th...

Re: Lipo low voltage

Unlucky... I recall reading online to charge the lipo on NiMh charge for a bit to get the voltage up to LiPo charge minimum and then switch to lipo charge. This worked for me, but mine was just under, but yours is way low...

It might be the bin for yours.

Re: Looking at a durga

I have one as a spare that I might think of selling. Also have a range of parts in a box somewhere as spares. They are a great design, run smooth and well. Latest incarnation is the DB-01RRR which I found came out a while back with big bore shocks (plastic though) and oil gear diffs... My main ones...

Re: What's the best R/C Transmitter to choose?

Futaba's 3PM-X is similar shape to the DX3. I thought I'd go cheap with the DX2 as an upgrade to my Futaba MJ 27mhz analogue, but it had major shortfall when it came to range. Not even 20 meters. I cut my losses and flogged it off to the stock car boys and made up the difference to get the 3PM. I ra...

Re: F1

I have brought off trademe for small amounts of bearings I needed to find. Not bad pricing if you want one or two, but can get pricey if you want lots/sets. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listings.aspx?member=1178063" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Just make sure you got the correct...

Re: 2011 North Island Onroad Champs - 18-20 November

Had an awesome time at my first official event. Glad to attend and race with alot of you more experienced drivers :) Could not get over the speed differences, even within the SAME class!! Some stock cars were going like superstock, and some superstock were like mod, even F1 were like Pro10 :P Very f...
